Helping People in Need

Welfare assistance

In this current economic climate, times are tough - with job cuts, rising costs and less money to go around, life can be difficult. St John's operates a welfare office to help those in need. We purchase food from the VicRelief Foodbank, as well as from local suppliers, through donations from parishioners and well wishers. We also provide food vouchers at the major supermarket chains.

NOTE: we do not give out money

welfare hours

St John's Welfare Office is open from 11am - 1pm on Wednesdays. No appointment necessary.
